Off-duty Policemen fatally shot: Police launch manhunt for gunmen
The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for two gunmen responsible for the tragic fatal shooting of two off-duty Police officers.
The incident occurred, Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, around 6:00 PM local time, outside their private residence located at Block Factory, East Trasacco, Accra.
The Police in a statement said the assailants, who were armed, approached the officers while they were seated in front of their home.
Shockingly, the gunmen did not attempt to rob the victims and swiftly fled the scene on a motorbike after carrying out the senseless attack.
In response to this heinous act, the Police have confirmed that an intelligence-led operation is underway to locate and apprehend the suspects.
