Massive walk for Mahama and Edem Agbana in Ketu North
The youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ketu North constituency on May Day organised a walk in support of their parliamentary candidate, Edem Agbana, and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
The walk attracted both young and old, with thousands claded in NDC colours singing and dancing songs of victory.
The walk, which took place on the streets of Dzodze, saw thousands of enthusiastic constituents marching in solidarity with the party’s candidates .
hey chanted slogans in support of the NDC candidates, expressing their confidence in their ability to bring development and progress to the constituency and Ghana as well.
Addressing the participants after the walk, the former minority leader and MP for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu emphasized the need to elect John Mahama and an NDC majority in the upcoming election.
He highlighted the track record of John Mahama and mocked Dr Bawumia’s records and described him as inexperienced. He urged all NDC members to work tirelessly to ensure the party’s victory.
He also described Edem Agbana as a young man with a strong sense of leadership who according to him, will do well for Ketu North as a constituency. He recounted how young he was when he entered parliament and said, “Edem has the capacity and experience to do better than me,” he said
Agbana, who is a former National Deputy Youth Organizer of the NDC is a promising politician who is expected to add dynamism to the legislative body.
Eric Edem Agbana emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the goals of the NDC and called on all party members to work together towards a common purpose. He reiterated his commitment to leading the NDC to grab over 85% of votes in Ketu North.
