GFA secures four-nation U-16 tournament in Russia
The Ghana Football Association has secured a four-nation UEFA U-16 tournament in Russia for the Black Starlets as part of preparation towards the WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations.
The GFA said developing talents at the youth level is paramount and this tournament will offer the players an opportunity to showcase their talent, build further teamwork, and experience the thrill of competition before the zonal championship in Accra.
The Black Starlets are currently at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, preparing for the tournament.
Ghana will participate in the competition together with host Russia, Serbia and Kazakhstan in an all play all format.
The team will use this tournament as preparation for the upcoming WAFU B U-17 Boys Cup to be hosted in Accra.
The UEFA U-16 four nation tournament will take place from April 23-29, 2024 in Volgograd, Russia.
