The MoU seeks to develop seven strategic areas between Ghanaian and U.S tech firms

Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with America’s largest minority-led black-owned technology business, Overland Tandberg.

The MoU seeks to develop seven strategic areas between Ghanaian and U.S tech firms to bridge the digital and diversity divide to attract as many businesses as possible to set up in Ghana.

This includes Overland Tandberg providing GIPC with insights into its technology value chain operations and how it may be helpful to GIPC’s cause as Ghana’s investment promotion agency.

In the coming months it is expected that the parties will work towards fleshing out the details of the MoU, which details are expected to translate into business ties between Ghanaian and American tech companies and jobs for scores of Ghanaian youths in the tech sector.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the Ghanaian government by the CEO of GIPC, Yoofi Grant and Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of TechGulf, Franklin Asare for Overland Tandberg.
