Ghana Trade Fair Company hosts Accra Eid-ul-Adha grand sales to promote local businesses

The Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited (GTFC) has successfully hosted the Accra Eid-ul-Adha Grand Sales event, aimed at promoting locally made products and supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the country.
Held at the West Hills Mall, the event brought together a wide array of Ghanaian businesses and institutions, showcasing products such as clothing, cosmetics, soaps, vegetable oils, herbal medications, and more.
The fair also featured participation from key corporate bodies and public institutions, including the Ghana Standards Authority and the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC).
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Abedi Anim, Public Relations Manager of GTFC, highlighted the company’s mandate to support the growth of SMEs through fairs and promotional platforms.
He encouraged all dealers in made-in-Ghana products to take advantage of such opportunities to increase their visibility and boost their businesses.
“We urge local producers to consistently participate in these events to showcase their creativity and drive sales,” Mr. Anim said. “These platforms are vital for connecting with consumers and scaling operations.”
As part of its strategy to empower vendors, GTFC is running the Grand Sales as a vendor-centred programme, allowing exhibitors to operate without paying commission fees, ensuring maximum benefit and profitability for participants.
