NPA reaffirms commitment to strengthen partnership with GBC

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has reiterated its commitment to deepening its longstanding partnership with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) as part of efforts to enhance stakeholder engagement within the energy sector.
This renewed commitment forms part of the NPA’s broader strategy to collaborate more closely with key institutions in disseminating critical information and promoting transparency in petroleum sector operations.
According to Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, the partnership with GBC—Ghana’s state broadcaster—remains vital in ensuring that accurate, timely, and relevant information on energy policies, fuel pricing, safety regulations, and consumer protection reaches the general public.
Officials from both the NPA and GBC are expected to explore new areas of cooperation in public education, media programming, and outreach initiatives aimed at increasing public awareness on issues affecting the petroleum downstream industry.
The NPA emphasised that strong media partnerships are essential to promoting accountability and building public trust, especially in sectors that directly impact livelihoods and national development.
