National Homeownership Fund to host 2026 Homeownership Fair in Accra
The National Homeownership Fund (NHF) has announced that it will host the National Homeownership Fair 2026 on March 4 and 5, 2026, in Accra.
The two-day event will take place at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (Old Office), beginning at 9:30 a.m. each day.
It will be held under the theme, “Building Ghana: One Home at a Time.”
According to the organisers, the Fair will assemble key public and private sector stakeholders within Ghana’s housing value chain to explore practical and sustainable solutions to affordable homeownership.
Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Julius Debrah, is expected to serve as the Guest of Honour.
The Minister for Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, and the Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, will attend as Special Guests.
The Fair will provide a platform for prospective homebuyers to interact directly with estate developers, financial institutions, regulators and other service providers.
Through exhibitions and panel discussions, participants will receive guidance on navigating the homeownership process and accessing financing options.
The event will also spotlight government initiatives and private-sector partnerships aimed at increasing housing supply, improving affordability and expanding mortgage access across the country.
The National Homeownership Fund, a government-backed institution, is mandated to tackle barriers to homeownership in Ghana.
It focuses on broadening access to affordable housing through innovative financing models, particularly for first-time buyers.
Organisers have indicated that the National Homeownership Fair 2026 is open to the public and free of charge, encouraging prospective homeowners, developers, financiers and industry stakeholders to participate and explore available pathways to owning a home.
