SIC Insurance PLC pays over GHS 1.5m claim to GCB Bank PLC

SIC Insurance PLC has fulfilled a significant insurance claim payment of GHS 1,541,446.19 in favour of GCB Bank PLC under the Bank’s Bankers Blanket Policy.
At a brief presentation ceremony held at GCB Bank’s Head Office in Accra, the Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance, Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, handed over the cheque to the Bank’s Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Mr. Socrates Afram.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng lauded GCB Bank for its long-standing business relationship with SIC Insurance, expressing gratitude for the trust and partnership built over the years.
“SIC Insurance PLC is financially strong, stable, and committed to prompt claims settlement,” he affirmed.
“We urge the business and insurance communities to continue doing business with us.
Our clients can rest assured—we pay claims when they are due.”
Highlighting SIC’s strong track record in claims payment, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng revealed that the company recently disbursed over $1 million to a client in Accra and $780,000 to another business in Tema.
“At SIC Insurance PLC, our promises are sacred.
When difficult times arise, we won’t wait for you to come to us—we’ll chase you with your cheque,” he remarked.
Receiving the cheque, Mr. Socrates Afram of GCB Bank expressed appreciation to SIC Insurance PLC for honoring its obligations.
“Our relationship with SIC has been mutually beneficial.
We value the professionalism and reliability they bring to our partnership,” Mr. Afram stated.
