2025 Ghana DJ Awards: Accra FM's Oyokodehye Kofi grabs 6th Highlife DJ of the Year accolade
The vibrant atmosphere at the 2025 Ghana DJ Awards reached its peak on Saturday night when Accra 100.5 FM’s radio DJ Oyokodehye Kofi was crowned Best Highlife DJ of the Year.
This is the sixth time the Highlife Time programme's host has won this category; 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025.
The celebrated broadcaster, known for his unmatched passion for preserving and promoting authentic Ghanaian Highlife, received thunderous applause as he mounted the stage to claim the prestigious honour.
Kofi’s dedication to highlighting both legendary and emerging Highlife talents has earned him a loyal following across the country.
His award-winning work on Accra FM continues to play a vital role in sustaining the genre’s legacy, while keeping listeners entertained with his signature storytelling, deep musical knowledge, and engaging presentation.
In his remarks after receiving the award, Oyokodehye Kofi expressed gratitude to the entire Highlife community.
The 2025 Ghana DJ Awards once again celebrated excellence in the DJ and music–broadcasting industry.
