GTA leadership hosts gospel artist Piesie Esther on courtesy visit
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Mr. Gilbert Aggrey, together with the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto, on Wednesday received celebrated gospel musician Piesie Esther during a courtesy visit at the Authority’s office.
The award-winning gospel minstrel, widely recognised for her inspiring music and contributions to Ghana’s gospel industry, paid a visit as part of efforts to strengthen ties between the creative arts sector and the tourism industry.
The meeting highlighted the growing collaboration between tourism and the creative space, with officials emphasising the role of music and culture in promoting Ghana’s image locally and internationally.
GTA leadership noted that Ghana’s vibrant creative talents, including artistes like Piesie Esther, continue to play a key role in showcasing the country’s rich heritage and attracting visitors through cultural and entertainment experiences.
The visit also served as a moment of engagement and mutual appreciation, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to partnering with influential figures in the arts to boost cultural tourism.
Piesie Esther has earned multiple awards over the years and remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel voices.
