For her 2024 birth anniversary, singer-songwriter and trained nurse Wendy Shay visited the pediatric surgery unit at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra.

According to a Facebook post by her road manager, Nana Reagan, during her visit, Wendy Shay "donated baby cots, radiant warmer, pediatric bed, suction machine and some other essential items".

"The exercise was very successful and management of the hospital [was] very excited," Reagan further remarked, thanking "the media for their support. Rufftown Records [is] very grateful".

On her verified Facebook account, Wendy Shay simply wrote, "Happy birthday to me [glad and cake emojis]. Thank God for the gift of life [clinking champagne glasses emoji]. Shay Foundation."

The Heaven singer attached photos of her time at Korle Bu interacting with new mothers, staff of the pediatric surgery unit, and cutting a cake with children, among other things.

Yesterday, Tuesday, February 20, 2024, reportedly was Wendy Shay's 28th birthday.
