Ghanaian musician and songwriter Kofi Kinaata has called on Ghanaians not to take life too seriously because it is full of mysteries beyond human comprehension.

According to Kofi Kinaata, people must learn to take things easy and confront life one day at a time.

Speaking on Ayekoo Ayekoo on Accra100.5FM on Thursday, 16 September 2021, the award-winning musician said he is able to cheer himself up when he is down due to the fact that he does not take life to heart.

The Confession hitmaker told show host Nana Romeo: “I don’t take life too seriously”.

“Life is not a ‘World Cup’. You shouldn’t be too serious in life and say life must be this way or that way, whatever will be will be; just do your part [because] there’s more to life that you don’t know”.

“For example, who are you? Why are you here? Where will you go from here? What can you do here? Where are you from?”

“All these questions we don’t have answers to, so, life is full of mysteries. That is why it is not supposed to be taken too seriously”.

“At the end of the day, be cool with everybody, life is not World Cup, the tomorrow we talk about is not even promised”.

“People have plans for tomorrow and do not even live to see that tomorrow so take life easy, don’t worry too much, be happy”.

Known in real life as Martin King Arthur, Kofi Kinaata is noted for his Fante raps and freestyle and, therefore, known as the ‘Fante Rap God’.

Apart from his rap prowess, he has grown into a very good singer, taking the highlife genre by storm.

Kofi Kinataa is currently promoting his new album titled ‘Thy Grace Part II’.
