Sarkodie reacts to arrest of 'content creator' Ebo Noah
Rapper and businessman Sarkodie has reacted to the arrest of social media sensation Evans 'Ebo Noah' Eshun, questioning the basis of the action taken against him and calling for clarity on any alleged offence.
The rap heavyweight said he was unaware of any wrongdoing by Ebo Noah, 33, beyond content creation, suggesting that the arrest may be unjustified unless further charges are disclosed.
“Don’t know exactly what my boy’s crime is, but from day one I knew he was making content, unless he’s been charged with something else,” Sarkodie stated.
According to the Ghana Police Service (GPS), Ebo Noah has been charged with "false publication with the intention to cause fear and panic".
On the day the predicted flood was to hit, Ebo Noah was spotted entertaining the audiences at Sarkodie's Rapperholic in Accra.
He explained the disaster was averted due to his prayer for mercy.
On his social media, Ebo Noah had always left the disclaimer that his prediction was a vision and not a prophecy.
