Shatta Wale features in GES-approved Creative Arts textbook
Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has been captured in a national Creative Arts textbook approved by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
A basic music profile of the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker was featured in lesson four of the textbook, published by Alpha and Omega series for Primary 4 pupils.
In addition to reading about the Shatta Movement boss, pupils will be required to sing and dance to any of Shatta Wale’s popular songs, as a means of practical assessment to be marked by a teacher when taking that lesson.
Shatta Wale is widely recognised as one of Ghana's biggest music talents, projecting the country in diverse ways.
On Friday, 18 September 2020, Shatta Wale released ‘I am Made in Ghana’ as a theme song for Ghana Export-Import Bank’s (EXIM Bank) Made-in-Ghana campaign.
Shatta Wale and actor Agya Koo were engaged as ambassadors.
