TGMAs 2024: The victory of ‘my sound engineer, brother’ is mine also – Piesie Esther on losing to Nacee

Piesie Esther does not feel disappointed “at all” losing the Gospel Artiste of the Year trophy to Nacee at the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The multiple award-winning vocalist revealed this to Taller Dee on phone on the No.1 Gospel Showbiz programme on No.1 FM, 105.3.
Stressing she does not feel aggrieved in anyway, she remembered “last year, God blessed us” with that very honour.
She emphasised, in addition, she recognises and respects “God does different things in different seasons”.
Noting she and her team “are full of praise to God for how things went” on June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), she congratulated record producer and singer-songwriter Nacee on his victory, even though it was at her expense.
Even more, according to Piesie Esther, since Nacee is “my sound engineer and my brother, I’ve equally won”.
She underlined her Nacee-produced megahit Mo (Well Done) is enjoyed by “families, churches, etc,” repeating she is not in the least disappointed in the TGMAs board, academy and general public’s decision at the 2024 edition.
