Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity F'dn now Otumfuo Osei Tutu II F'dn
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation (OOTCF) on Tuesday, 31 March 2021 announced a name-change to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation (OOTIIF).
This is in line with a pivotal restructuring the foundation founder and patron, Ashantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is undertaking in his long-standing quest to enhance social-development for Ashanteman and Ghana.
This was contained in a statement signed by Nana Prof Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II Otumfuo’s Hiahene and Board Chairman of OOTIIF.
The statement said the Otumfuo Education fund, the Serwaa Apem Foundation for Children and the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation have together metamorphosed and consolidated into the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation with a newly constituted board of trustees and management personnel.
Its mission, the statement noted is to improve good quality education, health and sustainable infrastructure while promoting programs in ICT, tourism and socio-economic development.
“The OOTIIF continues to be his Royal Majesty’s umbrella development to consolidate, structure and implement the Ashantehene’s social impact in the specific thematic areas such as education, health, culture and heritage and some special projects,” it added.
