Samira enskinned queen of patience and helper
Two farming communities in Gonja and Kintampo have enskinned Mrs Samira Bawumia as "Kechitowurchie" (helper) and "Kanyitiwurchie" (queen of patience).
The two traditional titles were conferred on the wife of the Vice-President when she visited the two communities as part of her tour of some selected communities in the Bono East Region.
She was given the titles because of her humanitarian works across the country.
In a related development, Mrs Bawumia was also the special guest of honour at the 8th annual Du'a (prayers) of Tabital Pulaaku International-Ghana Chapter at the Tamale Jubilee Park.
Tabital Pulaaku is an international association founded in 2002, to unite the people of Fulani descent around the world.
The event had in attendance representatives of the Dagbon, Mamprusi and Gonja Overlords, as well as representatives from the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
