60th Annual Meeting of ADB: President Mahama arrives in Côte d'Ivoire

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The Ghanaian leader is expected to participate in the 60th Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank (ADB), and the 51st Annual Meeting of the African Development Fund (ADF).
Accompanying President Mahama were his Executive Secretary, Dr Calistus Mahama; and the Deputy Chief of Staff,Operations, Stan Dogbe.
President Mahama was warmly received by the Ivorian Minister of Transport, Kone Amadou, arriving at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport.
The high-level meetings, officially opening today, Monday, May 26, 2025, are being held under the theme: 'Making Africa’s Capital Work Better for Africa’s Development'.
A key highlight of the sessions will be the election of a new ADB President, as Dr Akinwumi Adesina completes his second and final term, and is ineligible to run again.
