Big Push project: President Mahama cuts sod for Dodowa-Afienya-Dawhenya road in GA/R today

Government has announced a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the Dodowa-Afienya-Dawhenya road.
The announcement came from President John Dramani Mahama's office.
The presidency said roads beyond the stated towns will also be considered.
The sod-cutting would take place tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 1 PM.
The ceremony will happen at Afienya, Greater Accra Region, after which the president will head to the Volta Region for the a 4 PM sod-cutting ceremony for the redevelopment of Atimpoku-Asikuma-Anyrawase-Ho-Denu-Aflao road.
The sod-cutting ceremonies are part of the president's Big Push project.
