COP Tiwaa removed as CID boss
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr James Oppong-Boanuh, has reassigned the Director-General of the Criminal Investigative Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah.
She is now the Director-General in-charge of Welfare at the Ghana Police Service with effect from 15 January 2020.
Similarly, 23 other senior officials of the Ghana Police Service have also been reassigned
The IGP made the announcement in a statement on Friday, 3 January 2020.
