Cedar Mountain Chapel hosts international dignitaries
The Cedar Mountain Chapel in Accra has welcomed two notable guests during its Sunday service: Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Roey Gilad, and Namibia’s Deputy Minister of Finance, Maureen Hinda-Mbuende.
Ambassador Gilad commended Ghana’s peaceful electoral process and expressed Israel’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations under the incoming Mahama administration.
“I hope Ghana when voting at international platforms, keeps in mind the strong support Israel enjoys among its citizens,” he remarked, calling for Ghana’s continued partnership in international forums.
Deputy Minister Hinda-Mbuende praised Ghana’s leadership in reconnecting the African diaspora with the continent.
She highlighted initiatives such as the Year of Return and urged other African nations to emulate Ghana’s efforts.
“Ghana, as the birthplace of Pan-Africanism under Kwame Nkrumah, is rightly positioned to lead this effort,” she stated.
“I believe President Mahama’s return to office will take this initiative to new heights.”
The dignitaries’ visit underscored Ghana’s growing influence in fostering unity among African nations and strengthening ties with the global community.
