ECG: Outages due to heavy March 13 rainstorm

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has explained the heavy rainstorm that hit Accra and its environs on Thursday, March 13, 2025 "caused some outages within our network".
"ECG wishes to assure all affected customers that our engineers are working assidiously to repair the faults and restore power supply," the national power distributor assured.
The statement dated March 13, concluded: "The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted."
