Emmanuel Siisi Quainoo appointed Ag Commissioner of Gaming Commission
Emmanuel Siisi Quainoo has been appointed to the Gaming Commission as the Acting Commissioner by President John Mahama.
This was communicated via a letter dated Wednesday, January 22, 2025, signed by Dr Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.
“Your appointment takes effect on 22nd January 2025,” the letter said.
The Gaming Commission of Ghana regulates and monitors the gaming industry, including casinos, sports betting, and lotteries.
In 2016, serving as the CEO of the Gaming Commission, Mr Quainoo was elected the chairman of the Gaming Regulators African Forum (GRAF) for the 2016/2017 term.
A NGO founded in February 2003, GRAF guards citizens and communities through ensuring adherence to gaming regulatory laws applicable to member countries or states.
