Energy Minister graces launch of Gonjaland Youth Association’s 50th anniversary in Accra
The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has joined sons, daughters and friends of Gonjaland at the launch and fundraising dinner marking the 50th Anniversary of the Gonjaland Youth Association in Accra.
The event is celebrating five decades of the Association’s contribution to youth development and community advancement, while also serving as the official launch of this year’s congress.
The Golden Jubilee Congress is scheduled to take place in Buipe, located in the Yapei/Kusawgu Constituency, a development the Minister described as a proud moment for the area.
Addressing participants, Dr. Jinapor urged all people of Gonjaland to rally behind the Association’s executives as they work toward organising a successful Golden Jubilee Congress.
He commended their dedication and sacrifice, stressing that collective support is essential to ensure the celebration reflects the unity, resilience and progress of the people.
He also extended an early invitation to sons, daughters and friends of Gonjaland to converge in Buipe for what he described as a memorable commemoration of their shared heritage and aspirations for the future.
The anniversary celebration is expected to bring together stakeholders from across the country to reflect on the Association’s achievements and chart a renewed path for youth and community development in Gonjaland.
