Ho livestock market day changed from Thursday to Tuesday – Municipal Assembly announces

In a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and boosting trade convenience, the Ho Municipal Assembly has officially announced a change in the weekly market day for the Ho Livestock Market.
According to a public notice issued and signed by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Henry Yao Amesimeku, the market day, which was traditionally held on Thursdays, will now take place every Tuesday, effective immediately.
The decision, the Assembly explained, is part of ongoing efforts to streamline activities within the livestock trading sector and ensure better coordination among traders, butchers, and other key stakeholders involved in the animal trade.
"This change is aimed at improving market operations and ensuring better coordination and convenience for both traders and buyers," the statement noted.
The Assembly has called on all stakeholders, including livestock traders, butchers, and buyers, to take note of the change and comply accordingly to ensure a smooth transition. The Assembly also expressed its appreciation for the continued support and cooperation from the public.
For further information or clarification, individuals are advised to contact the Ho Municipal Assembly Office.
The livestock market in Ho serves as a vital hub for the trade of animals and animal products in the region and beyond, and this adjustment is expected to bring added value to its operations.
