Opong-Fosu urges continuation of late Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings' legacy
The Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Akwasi Opong-Fosu, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
The visit, which took place at the family residence, was described as a moment of reflection and solidarity.
Mr. Opong-Fosu encouraged the bereaved family and children to find strength and to honour her memory by carrying forward her powerful legacy.
He highlighted the late former First Lady's lifelong and unwavering dedication to pivotal national causes, particularly her pioneering work in women’s empowerment, social justice, and selfless national service.
He noted that these contributions continue to serve as an enduring inspiration for Ghana.
“The legacy of Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings is a national treasure,” Mr. Opong-Fosu stated.
“It is our collective hope that the next generation will continue to walk proudly in her footsteps, upholding the values she championed throughout her remarkable life.”
The visit served to reinforce the profound impact the former First Lady had on the nation's social and political landscape, with calls for her vision to guide future endeavours.
