Patrick Boamah appointed ambassador for 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations

 The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has been officially unveiled as the Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations.

The announcement was made during a brief ceremony held at the Presbyterian Church Head Office in Accra on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

In his acceptance speech, Mr Boamah expressed profound gratitude to God and the Christian Council of Ghana for the honour bestowed on him.

He acknowledged the leadership of the Council for their confidence in his commitment to promoting Christian family values.

"I am deeply grateful to God for this moment and to the Christian Council.

I say a very big thank you to the leadership for this honour as the Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations," he stated.

The MP emphasised the importance of upholding the sanctity of marriage and its central role in nation-building. "When we honour marriage as ordained by God, we build strong family institutions," he said, adding that a prosperous nation is rooted in strong, loving, and purposeful homes.

Mr. Boamah concluded his remarks with a hopeful message: "It is my prayer that our collective efforts lead to a Ghana where love, peace, and purpose flourish."

 

Christian Home Week is an annual celebration organised by the Christian Council to promote strong family values, moral upbringing, and spiritual development in Ghanaian households.
