S/R: President Mahama assures trad leaders of key projects including regional hospital

President John Dramani Mahama has assured the chiefs and people of the Savannah Region of timely developmental interventions aimed at easing their burdens.
He said his government was committed to delivering key projects including water systems, a regional hospital, new school infrastructure, agricultural support, and major road construction across the region.
The assurance was given when a delegation from the Savannah Region, led by the Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale, paid a courtesy call on the president at the Jubilee House in Accra.
President Mahama expressed gratitude for the visit and reiterated his pledge to honouring all promises made to the people.
He emphasised that his administration was committed to seeing the Savannah Region thrive through targeted investments in critical sectors.
He also urged traditional leaders to continue supporting the government’s efforts in driving sustainable development throughout the Savannah Region.
