Ejisu: Pastor of Jehovah Nissi Evangelical Ministry shot dead by robbers
The head pastor of Jehovah Nissi Evangelical Ministry branch at Ejisu-Tikrom in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti region, Rev. Maxwell Attakorah has been shot dead by armed robbers.
He was shot at his shoulder and bled to death.
The incident happened today, Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at his residence at Anyinam Kegyase in the Kumasi Metropolis around 3am.
Rev. Douglas Sarfo, Associate Pastor told Class News’ Elisha Adarkwah, that after the pastor had been shot, the wife struggled with the robbers and was able to escape.
The robbers, he said, did not take anything from the house after the wife refused to give them money they were requesting for.
The body of the victim has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police have since commenced investigations into the crime.
