Mamobi:Police arrest one person in connection with NPP, NDC clash
One person has been arrested in connection with the violent clashes that erupted between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Mamobi, a suburb of Accra.
The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
In a statement, the police confirmed their efforts to apprehend all individuals involved in the disturbance, vowing to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday during a routine political campaign walk, left nine people injured. Seven of the injured have since been treated and discharged, while two are still receiving medical care at the hospital.
The police assured the public that they are working diligently to ensure that those responsible for the violence are held accountable.
