A/R: GES interdicts Jachie-Pramso SHS head for ruthlessly lashing female student
The Ghana Education Service has interdicted the headteacher of Jachie-Pramso Senior High School in the Ashanti Region, Mr Francis Donkor, for ruthlessly lashing a female student.
The interdiction took effect from 7 September 2021.
It is to allow thorough investigation into the incident.
Mr Donkor has been directed to hand over the administration and management of the school to the Ashanti Regional Director of Education.
The embattled headteacher mercilessly beat 19-year-old Mary Amoako, for offering her jacket to a male student he (headteacher) had asked to walk shirtless to the dormitory to put on a prescribed school uniform after seizing the student’s unprescribed attire.
Mr Donkor felt disrespected by the student, thus, the merciless beating.
