Basic schools to break for Easter holidays from 1– 6 April
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has instructed all heads of public and private schools in the Abuakwa North Municipality to go on a break from 1 to 6 April 2021 to observe the Easter holidays.
Schools are to resume academic work on Wednesday, 7 April 2021, a statement from the GES said.
Easter is a Christian festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary.
