National Girls’ Speech and Debate Championship advances to quarter-finals as students showcase oratory excellence
The National Girls’ Speech and Debate Championship has progressed to the quarter-final stage, with participating students continuing to demonstrate strong performance in critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical reasoning.
The competition, which brings together young female students from various schools, has featured a series of compelling debates marked by insightful arguments, confident delivery, and strong command of subject matter.
Quoting the famous words of educationist James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey, “If you educate a woman, you educate a nation,” organisers say the championship reflects the importance of empowering young girls through education and self-expression.
According to organisers, the participants have consistently delivered impressive performances, highlighting the impact of knowledge acquisition and structured debate training on their intellectual development and confidence.
Margins ID Group, a partner in the initiative, expressed pride in supporting the championship, noting that the competition continues to provide a platform for nurturing future leaders.
The group said it looks forward to even more outstanding performances as the contest progresses.
As the competition enters the quarter-final stage, anticipation is building around which schools will advance further, with organisers wishing all participants the best of luck.
The championship continues to be celebrated as an important platform for developing communication skills, leadership potential, and academic excellence among young women across the country.
