Policewoman emerges top of class at Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre

Detective Policewoman Chief Inspector (D/PW/C/Insp) Elizabeth Jenelle Acquah of the Ghana Police Service has emerged as the best student of the 2023/2024 graduating cohort at the prestigious Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Teshie, Accra.  

D/PW/C/Insp Elizabeth Jenelle Acquah passed out with a Master of Arts degree programme in Conflict, Peace and Security, conferred on her on October 31, 2025.  

Theories and Analysis of Conflict, Peace and Security, International Humanitarian Law, International Relations Theory, Youth and Conflict in Africa, and Research Methods in Conflict, Peace and Security, among others, were some of the courses in the Conflict class, and throughout her time of studies, D/PW/C/Insp.

Elizabeth Jenelle Acquah distinguished herself with an outstanding cumulative grade point average, putting her at the top of the graduating class.  

Ghana Police Service noted that the achievement of D/PW/C/Insp. Jenelle Acquah, who currently serves at the Cybercrime Department of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), demonstrated the police service's commitment to professional development and academic excellence.  

"Her success serves as an inspiration to women in law enforcement and highlights the importance of continuous learning in addressing contemporary security challenges," the service added, congratulating Detective Policewoman Chief Inspector Elizabeth Jenelle Acquah on the "remarkable achievement".
