S/R: MP allocates GHC200K to support tertiary students in his constituency

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency in the Savannah Region, John Abdulai Jinapor, has set aside a personal grant of Two Hundred Thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc 200,000.00) to support needy but brilliant tertiary students in his constituency.
To ensure that the money is appropriately disbursed to the targeted students, the MP has constituted a five-member committee, consisting of the Constituency Secretary of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), treasurer, organiser, youth and women's organisers, to supervise the disbursement of the grant to the beneficiaries.
The committee will publish the modalities for disbursement in due course.
