Ursula Foundation supports Labone SHS students after dormitory fire

The Ursula Foundation, led by former Minister for Communications and Digitalisation and immediate past Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South in the Greater Accra Region, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has extended a hand of support to students of Labone Senior High School following the recent destruction of the school’s girls' dormitory.
In a show of solidarity, the Foundation donated a range of essential supplies, including bags of rice, maize, gari, beans, plastic chairs, and mattresses, to help alleviate the challenges faced by affected students.
Speaking on the motivation behind the gesture, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful emphasised the importance of community support in times of crisis.
"We believe in standing with our communities during difficult times, and this donation reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting education and student welfare," she said.
The donation comes in response to the unfortunate incident that left several students displaced and in urgent need of assistance.
The timely intervention by the Ursula Foundation has been widely welcomed by school authorities and the wider community.
Efforts are ongoing to restore the affected facilities and ensure students can return to normalcy as soon as possible.
