YEA holds orientation for youth at Marshalls University
The Greater Accra Regional Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Mr. Prince Obeng, announced the successful completion of a much-anticipated orientation programme for young applicants, held on Tuesday at Marshalls University.
The event, which saw hundreds of eager participants, aimed to provide an overview of the YEA’s education and skills training programmes designed to enhance youth employability.
In his address, Mr. Obeng reiterated the government’s commitment to advancing education and skills development for Ghanaian youth, urging participants to take full advantage of the training opportunities available to them.
“Our promise to these young people remains intact,” he stated, emphasizing the agency’s dedication to empowering youth for the job market.
The atmosphere at the orientation was filled with enthusiasm and high expectations, as attendees expressed their excitement about the programme and made a commitment to make the most of the skills they would acquire.
Mr. Obeng remarked that it was clear the youth were inspired by the opportunity, and he encouraged them to fully utilize the training to achieve their career goals.
