Akufo-Addo, Bawumia attend one-week memorial service of late GRDA CEO
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, 27 February 2021, joined other New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful to commemorate the one-week memorial service of the late Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Railways Development Authority(GRDA).
Mr Richard Dombo passed away on Wednesday, 17 February 2021.
Sources say he was battling with COVID-19 complications before succumbing.
A son of the late Chief Simon Diedong Dombo, one of the founders of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia political tradition, the GRDA CEO was appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo in 2017.
He had served as the operations manager for Southwest Rail, one of the largest rail operators in the UK, before his appointment as GRDA CEO.
