Appointments list fake, rely on official communications from us – Office of President-elect tells public
The Office of the President-Elect John Dramani Mahama has dismissed as false and unauthorised recent claims circulating on social media about purported appointment lists.
Following the widespread circulation of these alleged lists, a statement issued by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect, clarified that no official appointments or nominations have been made.
The statement urged the public to disregard such unverified reports and to rely solely on official communications from the Office of the President-Elect.
“We urge all to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely on official communications from our office,” the statement added.
The Office reassured the public that any forthcoming appointments or announcements would be made through the appropriate channels, encouraging caution in light of the ongoing misinformation.
