COVID-19: Akufo-Addo extends compulsory face mask wearing by 3 months
President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended the mandatory wearing of face masks by an additional three months.
The president disclosed that he signed the Executive Instrument to make the wearing of face mask lawful on September 14.

‘The wearing of masks has served us well in the fight against COVID-19,” Nana Akufo-Addo said in his 17th address to the nation on Sunday, 20 September 2020, adding: “Let’s wear our masks and do so correctly anytime we are leaving our homes”.
