COVID-19: NDC donates items to CMG to fight virus
The opposition National Democratic Congress’ COVID-19 team, which was set up to assist the government to fight the spread of the virus, has donated items to media giant Class Media Group (CMG).
CMG operates Class91.3FM, Accra100.5FM, No.1 105.3FM, Kumasi104.1FM, Adehyee99.1FM, Ho FM, CTV, Tamale FM, Takoradi FM and ClassFMonline.com.
The donation, which was made on Friday, 3 April 2020 was to enable the media group prevent further spread of the deadly virus. Led by its National Chairman, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the team presented Veronica buckets, hand sanitisers, drinking water, liquid soap and tissue to CMG. Receiving the items, the General Manager of Accra100.5FM and No.1 105.3FM, Mr Kojo Preko commended the party for the gesture. Other members of the team present at the donation were the party’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman Mr Ade Coker and Deputy National Communication Officer Godwin Ako-Gunn.
