COVID-19 lockdown: CMG to send money to widows, single mums via MoMo to ease their burden
To ease the suffering of the vulnerable during the partial lockdown imposed on residents of Accra, Kasoa, Tema and Kumasi as part of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Class Media Group (CMG), as part of her social responsibility, has launched the CMG MoMo Against COVID-19 charity platform to provide direct cash to single mothers and widows.
To benefit, widows and single mothers must share their story on any of CMG’s platforms – Class91.3FM, Accra100.5FM, NUMBER 1 FM and CTV.
Each day, 20 widows and single mothers on each of the CMG platforms, will be sent money directly via their mobile money wallet to ease their burden.
The promotion starts today, Monday, 6 April 2020 and ends on Friday, 10 April 2020.
Widows and single mothers must call 0302 20 80 80 or 0500 000 202 and give their name, ID details, number of children and MOMO number or send the same details in a video message to WhatsApp number 0500 000 202.
CMG is using this medium to comfort the vulnerable to win the fight against COVID-19.
