E/R: Fanteakwa South MP donates air conditioner, GHS1,000 to Bosuso health centre
The Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South in the Eastern Region, Mr Kofi Okyere Agyekum, has donated GHS1,000 and a 2.5-horsepower air conditioner to the Bosuso health centre.
The donation is the legislator’s contribution to an ongoing laboratory project spearheaded by the youth in the area.
While making the presentation, Mr Agyekum said a health centre without a laboratory is “incomplete”, and as the youth of Bosuso had taken an initiative to build the laboratory, he “decided to support the ongoing project”.
The Physician Assistant of the health centre, Mrs Wilson, who received the items, thanked the MP for his kind gesture.
“We know you're busy but this morning, you have been able to spare us some time because of the love you have for Bosuso.
“You have brought us a lot of equipment in the past and we are grateful.
“We are also grateful for what you have done for us this morning.
“The laboratory is very important to us.
“We know it is part of your plans but we know it will come later.
“May God bless you and grant your heart’s desires,” she noted.
