Former Information Minister John Tia dead
Former Information Minister in the John Evans Atta Mills administration, John Akologo Tia, has passed on at the age of 69.
Sources close to his family indicated that the former Talensi Member of Parliament's sudden demise occurred on Saturday following a brief illness.
Before his death, he served as a regional campaign member for former president John Mahama's campaign team in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Born on September 23, 1954, Mr Tia was more than just a politician; he was also a seasoned farmer.
His involvement in local politics dates back to 1982.
Mr Tia's passing has left a void in both the political space and the hearts of those who knew him
