NIA's 24-Hour prestige centre at Labone for Ghanacard services ready
The National Identification Authority (NIA) is set to commence operations at its new 24-Hour Prestige Centre in Labone as part of efforts to improve access to identity registration and Ghanacard services across the country.
According to the Authority, the Labone centre is fully ready and will begin operations shortly.
The NIA also disclosed that more than ten additional centres nationwide are prepared to start operations under the initiative, which is aimed at providing uninterrupted and convenient access to identity services for Ghanaians.
NIA in a Facebook post has indicated that each centre is expected to employ about eight people, creating new job opportunities while enhancing service delivery within the identification sector.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to improve accessibility, efficiency and convenience in the issuance and management of Ghanacards and other identity-related services across the country.
