The Principal of the Civil Service Training Centre (CSTC), Mrs. Dora Dei-Tumi, has called on the public and civil servants to serve as ambassadors of positive change in order to accelerate national development.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of a two-week training programme on workload analysis and manpower planning for eleven public servants from The Gambia, Mrs. Dei-Tumi underscored the critical role of civil and public servants in supporting the government to achieve its mandate.

“Let’s all be ambassadors of good change and put into practice the ideas we have exchanged to be agents of change,” she advised.

She further encouraged participants to embrace digital platforms and innovative resources as tools to facilitate national growth and development.

A representative of the Management Services Department (MSD), Mr. Nicholas Sampah, also urged the participants to put the knowledge acquired into practice.

“I urge you all to commit yourselves to the knowledge gained through this training and exhibit a high level of professionalism at your various organisations,” he stated.

Some participants expressed their profound gratitude to the management of CSTC for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to broaden their skills and knowledge.

The training forms part of an initiative by the Government of Ghana through the CSTC to position the institution as a centre of excellence in capacity building, not only for Ghanaians but also in collaboration with other countries to equip workers across the globe.
