Truck loaded with macaroni topples over at Kawukudi
A truck carrying two freight containers filled with macaroni on Sunday, 31 May 2020, got involved in an accident at Kawukudi near Nima in Accra.
The truck, which was returning from Tema, was headed toward the Dzorwulu N1 Highway.
The driver of the truck is said to have lost control of the accelerator, thus, the inability of the vehicle to climb up the hilly road, resulting in its downward fall.
It dislodged its load on the road around the Kawukudi traffic light.
There were, however, no casualties.
The head of the truck has been carted off by the police to the Nima police station.
