COVID-19: 11 more deaths take fatality toll to 1,047; active cases fall
The COVID-19 death toll in Ghana has risen to 1,047, the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service indicate.
As of 29 August 2021, the active cases had dropped to 6,857.
Of that number, 60 are critical and 142 severe.
Within that period, 207 new cases were confirmed.
Since mid-March 2020, Ghana has recorded a total of 120,003 cases.
Out of that number, 112,099 have recovered.
