COVID-19: Ghana’s active caseload falls to 5,779; death toll 1,084
Ghana’s active COVID-19 cases have fallen to 5,779 as of 5 September 2021, the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service indicate.
The death toll increased by one to 1,084 within that period.
Also, some 180 new cases were recorded within the period.
Of the active cases, 51 are critical and 129 severe.
Since mid-March 2020, a total of 122,543 cases have been recorded in Ghana.
Out of that number, 115,680 have recovered.
