Free Zones Authority CEO visits Entrance Pharmaceuticals, pledges continued support

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Dr. Mary Awusi, has paid a working visit to Entrance Pharmaceuticals Limited, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group, as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships with Free Zone enterprises.
Dr. Awusi was accompanied by the Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Administration, Mr. Hamidu Sibiri Musah, and other senior officials of the Authority.
During the engagement, the Group Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Mr. Samuel Tobbin, commended the GFZA for its consistent support over the past 12 years, but also outlined some operational challenges facing the company.
Responding, Dr. Awusi assured the company of the Authority’s commitment to addressing their concerns, particularly through interventions from the AfCFTA Desk and the Aftercare Unit, which are dedicated to supporting investors.
She praised Entrance Pharmaceuticals for its contributions to Ghana’s pharmaceutical industry and expressed optimism about the company’s future expansion plans, including the establishment of a new infusion plant and the commencement of 24-hour operations in line with government policy.
Dr. Awusi reaffirmed the GFZA’s commitment to providing the necessary support to ensure the company’s continued growth and long-term success.
